We the Panel

About us

Who runs We the Panel

Two people, Hein Dauven and Fahad Rana. This page says who we are, where your data lives, what we do with the results and how to reach us.

Who we are

We the Panel is run by Hein Dauven and Fahad Rana, through a collaboration between two companies: Tohkens, Fahad Rana's company, and Mochavi Limited, Hein Dauven's company, registered in Hong Kong. Together they run the panel and are responsible for your data. The privacy notice has the legal details.

Where your data lives

The panel's database is in the United States, in Virginia. Your email address is kept apart from your answers, and the website runs on Cloudflare's network. There are no ads and no tracking cookies.

What we do with the results

  • We publish combined results: how the country, and each of the nine types, answered.
  • Organizations can buy combined results and custom research. We never sell or share anyone's individual answers.
  • Nobody can pay to change a question, and we are not connected to any party or campaign.

Fair to every side

The quiz, the nine types and every weekly question are written to be fair to all sides. Our method page lists all 21 quiz statements and which way each one leans, so you can check for yourself.
