Who we are

We the Panel is a collaboration (in Dutch, a samenwerkingsverband) between Tohkens and Mochavi Limited, a Hong Kong private company limited by shares (business registration number 77975303). Questions about these terms go to hello@wethepanel.com.

The quiz

Anyone can take the quiz, free and without an account. Your type comes from how you answer 21 statements. It's a simplified picture of where you stand, not a verdict on you and not advice about whom to vote for.

Joining the panel

• The panel is for adults aged 18 and over who live in the United States.
• One account per person. Answer about yourself, honestly; the optional questions are optional.
• Sign-in links are sent to your email. Keep that inbox to yourself, because the links open your account.

Fair play

The results are only worth something if every answer comes from a real person, once. So please don't:

• use bots, scripts or fake or extra accounts;
• try to sway or flood the results, alone or as a group;
• interfere with the site, or copy its content in bulk by automated means (search engines indexing it is fine).

We may leave suspicious answers out of results, and suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Your answers, and what we do with them

We combine members' answers into results that we publish, and share or license to media, businesses, researchers and campaigns. We never publish, sell or share anyone's individual answers. By joining, you allow us to use your answers this way for as long as you're on the panel. If you leave, we delete them; combined results that were already published stay as they are, since they don't contain anyone's individual answers. The privacy notice has the details.

About the results

Results are estimates. Early results are not yet weighted to match the country, and we say so wherever they appear. Our method explains how the quiz and the panel work. We take care over them, but we can't promise they're complete or free of error.

Our content

The quiz, the nine types, the illustrations and the text on this site are ours. Share your type card and quote our published results freely, with credit to We the Panel and a link where you can.

Changes

We the Panel is free, and we may change, pause or stop parts of it. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell panel members by email before the change takes effect.

Responsibility

We provide the site and the panel as they are. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for decisions anyone makes based on our results. Nothing here takes away rights the law doesn't allow to be taken away.

Leaving

You can leave the panel whenever you like from your panel page. We then delete your account and every answer you gave.
